Lefty Kreh writes about obtaining such a piece of gear for storage&transport of pre-tied flies/leaders and feels such an item is important to prevent curling and kinking in the leaders. He wrote that he acquired his box from Bass Pro/ Worldwide Sportsman. I have searched both the Cabelas and BP catalogs and find none available. Am wondering if anyone might know of a source for this item. It apears to be the dimensions of about a legal size sheet of paper and have a depth of 4 to 6 inches.

I carry 5-6 flys pre-rigged with wire traces to use for blue fish.
To keep the wire from curling or kinking I just tack the loops down with push pins in my foam box.

Orvis carries them. Also Abel makes one, and there’s another in the Bob Marriott catalog that can’t remember the name of. They seem to be losing favor with the advent of flourocarbon and knottable wires. That stuff doesn’t kink and flouro straghtens easily, so ziplock bags suffice.
