I will enclose a small gift with all returned fly sets.
can some one help me out with toe tags, I was thinking of something simple, like a piece of tape with my entry number on It attached to the fly and then supplying further info on the web site.
John,
I have toe tagged flies in the past by listing pertinent information: hook size, thread diameter, weight used (if any) bead size color (if any) and a materials list for the entire fly. Sounds like a lot but once you get it listed you can type it out and reduce the font. I usually fold the information in half and then stick the hook of the fly through the fold.
I’ll play. A friend of mine came up with an olive nymph pattern that has been working in our neck of the woods. Not sure why it would not work elsewhere. I’ll tie it in a sz.16. Could name it the Trout Assassin or Olive Hoover …? but I’ll just call it an Olive Stone Variation.
