Fly patterns by fishing guides

FLY PATTERNS BY FISHING GUIDES
200 FLIES THAT REALLY WORK
BY: TONY LOLLI
This volume is a spiral bound hardcover which easily stands open on the tying bench and is full of patterns and tying tips from some of the finest fly tiers around the world. Here in the United States we are often only concerned with the patterns that are developed here at home, however there is a wide world out there filled with talented anglers and fly tiers which can educate the tiers and anglers here in the United States.

This book also lists the website from all of the fly tiers who contributed to this volume and this factor alone makes the volume well worth the price. Upon receiving this missive I found that is is both a directory for freshwater and saltwater fly patterns. Furthermore I immediately found a floating Damsel Fly Nymph by Martin Angnell which intrigued me and an Xtreme Squid pattern by Pedro Pablo Yanez Duran which I can’t wait to try. These are just two examples of the 200 patterns listed in this fine volume.

This volume will expand your fly tying world and possibly open up a whole new avenue for you to gain valuable information. I strongly urge you to add this volume to your fly tying library.
