Fly fishing Maps - Catskill Rivers

Howdy,

About 2 years ago, I was looking at buying some framed maps to put on my wall in my “time-out” room (home office). But I can’t remember where I saw them. Seems to me they used to be a sponser here.

They sold a bunch of different framed maps, including the major Catskill Rivers. They had an old time theme to them, i.e. yellowish background.

Anybody know what I’m talking about?

Also, if you have any other suggestions for where to get neat art (I’m into getting a couple of river maps to hang… nothing too big), that’d be great.

Thanks

I believe that Great American River Maps at [url=http://www.rivermaps.com:ed43b]www.rivermaps.com[/url:ed43b] has something similar to what you are describing. They are still listed on GOOGLE but I cannot reach their website today.

The maps you’re looking for are in the link from the Catskill Fly Fising Museum above.

If you get the ph. # from the museum, you can talk to them and get specifics on the maps.

I got some unframed ones and put 'em in frames I had. They look great on the wall of my little fly fishing shrine.

(Yes, Harry and Elsie’s daughter.)

Are they anything like the maps I got from the Theodore Gordon FF’ers a zillion years ago?

They were plastic coated with all the pools marked.

Thanks everyone. I think those are the ones I was thinking of.

The River Maps website is the one I was thinking of… and just as I was going to buy them a couple of years ago, the sort of went offline and I never followed through.

I’ll get them through the museum.
