Going out to visit the inlaws in March. They have a place in Bonita Springs/Ft myers on or near the Orange River by Manatee Park. Does anyone know about this area? Any info on what to expect, where to start and what to bring would be appreciated…thanks.

It’s about 50 miles south of here, but you should find some info on these websites: http://outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zeroforum?id=11 & http://www.chff.us/Links.html . There’s also the Calusa Flyfishers that still may meet at the Bass Pro Shops about 5 miles south of Fort Myers RSW - Regional Southwest Airport, which is a couple I-75 exits above Bonita Beach Road.
