Right, which is what? Something anatomical or just a little bit of color. On streamers I get it, but nymphs?

Since its an attracter i would say a splash of contrasting color. if you fished it as an emerger i would exaggerate the color of the of emerging dun or pupa

Maybe wings on a caddis pupa? I really have no idea.
