That’s a new one, to me anyway. Cool looking fly!! And your photo’s are what keep me coming back time and time again. So good and clear.

Nice job Scott. Very nice. Thank you.

And my “Hackle Stackers” still - “ain’t quite where I’d like them to be” - but if this was easy it wouldn’t be as much fun, would it! you make it looks so simple.

Jeremy.

I can see where that could be a deadly pattern.

John

That is looking like a killer I have all the stuff minus the orange biot’s I wonder if some white would work ???

Cool looking fly

Seems to work okay for a Prince Nymph.

Scott

This bug is awesome on so many levels.

What do the cheeks represent on a nymph?

Joe

cheeks represent the same thing the white biots do on a prince nymph

Right, which is what? Something anatomical or just a little bit of color. On streamers I get it, but nymphs?

Joe

Since its an attracter i would say a splash of contrasting color. if you fished it as an emerger i would exaggerate the color of the of emerging dun or pupa

Great question.
Maybe wings on a caddis pupa? I really have no idea.

somewhat rare photo of a caddis pupa emerger on troutnut.com
