Went out to a pond. Used several flies and caught three fish. Changed to a guides choice hares ear type fly.
Nothing until I started retrieving it in by reeling very slowly, one turn of the handle about every 4 seconds.
When the fly was near the break line I had fish hit. Caught about half of what hit.
Got 13 crappie and 12 gills.
