I might be traveling to Durham in late May and would have a day or so to fish. Is there any trout fishing near there at that time of year? How about WarmWater? Would I be better to spend a day or two in Western NC to find trout? I would like to catch a wild trout some day.

Hey…there’s lots of good fishing around Durham, but I believe you’ll have to drive a few hours west for trout.
If I were you, I’d be looking at several warm-water rivers, Falls Lake, and Jordan Lake.
