Nymph(s)Lightly Weighted
Nymphs are sinking flies that are drifted with the current.
Cast well upstream of the fish you are targeting, and
allow the fly to drift naturally with the current. For
lightly weighted nymphs, your fly line should be buoyant
enough to keep the fly from catching on the bottom.
Nymph(s) Weighted with Indicator
For heavily weighted nymphs, a strike indicator is
recommended. Use the same drifting technique as
described above. Strike indicators help keep your
nymph(s) from hanging up on the bottom and alert
you when a fish has taken your fly.
