First Day of Vacation!!! (Skunk)

The daily wind forecast for my vacation this week looks pretty much the same, according to Wunderground:

In other words, perfect conditions for chasing snook off the beach. So I sleep dreaming of:

I walk two miles and see no fish. My tide app for some reason is way off:

So I opt for a Walmart boneless wings lunch on the ICW until the tide turns:

And it turns. I walk about two miles and no fish:

Well, I did spot one:

And I didn’t get completely skunked:

So day two of this vacation will consist of 2 weights and freshwater. I’m thinking the beach snook season has ended.

Can’t think of too many other places I’d rather take a two mile hike though Jim. :slight_smile:

That night, just as I am going to bed, the rain starts…

My spot is blown out:
