I love the new board but for some reason the FAOL Main Menu appears on the left side of my window. If I log off and back on it will dissappear but if I switch to a different BB it will come back.
Is there something I can do to make it go away permenantly?
Not at all sure what you are describing, but will tyr. Not sure why you want the main index gone. Do you just want the BB, a bookmark to just that? That can be done.

I THINK I figured it out. I may have just had confused bookmarks so I re-did them and all appears OK for now.
BTW yes I did just want the BB not the menu.

It is surprising to me how many do not want to bother with the main FAOL site and only bookmark the BB and ‘never’ go to the ‘Main’. Really busy I guess, or something … :?
I like to visit every section of FAOL. I learn more each time I visit each section. I do like the new BB a lot it seems much easier to me to use the BB now. John
JC Don’t know about new BB but the old BB if you bookmarked the BB then if pictures were posted you didn’t have to scroll sideways to read everything.

I do visit the home page actually, but via a different bookmark.
My issue with the appearance of the Main Menu along with the BB was with my favorites list active on the left, the additional main menu required me to scroll right to see the whole BB.
JC, I visit the BB frequently during the day. I visit the main home page at least once a week. So it makes more sense for me to access the BB via a bookmark and then access the home page from the BB.
It is not a sign of disrespect for the home page, simply a reflection that the content changes less frequently there.
