Falling Spring

Had a chance to spend a day on Falling Spring in Chambersburg, PA.

Nice photo essay. I find the quarry area to be quite difficult. Downtown is a bit easier.

Bob, I think I would agree with you.

I am anxious to hit the upper section however as well. And during a bit cooler period.

Cool pics. Been a few years since I fished there; very sad day when they closed the Skelly Farm section.

Scott

That is a beautiful area . Nice photos and report. Thank you. Jim

That’s some pretty country, I guess that is the pretty part of NJ I have been told about but never been able to find when I was visiting on working trips. Big improvement on Newark and Atlantic City.

Uncle Jesse, Falling Springs is in PA actually…although there are a handful of really nice places in NJ as well. Most of South Jersey is farmland.

NJT, I have been told by many people what a pretty state NJ is but have never had or taken the opportunity to see the pretty places. I will never forget being held prisoner in downtown Newark for 3 day several years ago, there’s not a good restaurant there.

Falling Springs is in Pennsylvania.

Scott

Beautiful area. Would love to visit something like that someday.

Nice looking fishing waters and I enjoyed reading your blog of the trip, Thanks for posting.

Uncle Jesse…I concur on Newark area. I commuted into there for 1 1/2 years. uugghh.

ScottP, you are correct it’s in PA. LOL…didn’t even catch my own typo.
