Thanks, Normand. I’ve gotten on a streamer kick lately, and I like this. Clean, simple and elegant.

I like that a lot. I’ve been fishing a Wood Special a lot this year with good results, and that’s a nice variation on the general theme.

Very nice fly, Normand, and I agree with Bob wholeheartedly. I’ve been fishing the Wood Special/Stayner Ducktail - http://flyanglersonline.com/features/lakes/part12.php - for a few years now and it is the most effective warm water fly I’ve ever used.

Another great fly. I wonder what size is most productive for lake fishing?

Great looking fly !

Hi Kelkay,

For the streamer version, it’s sizes 6 - 10. For the dry, it’s 10 - 14 and calls for flourescent orange floss on the rear two thirds, with green floss on the front third of the body. Great tie Normand!

Regards,
Mark
