Here is rod I built for a good friend of mines benefit auction. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor at Christmas. The blank is private label, Carbon fiber grip I made, Batson YFLY inTich, Chrome SF guides. Wraps are Cobalt with copper mettallic. The rod case is mahogany with walnut butt cap and anodized gold top cap.

Having recently completed a woodworking project for my daughter, I may be more impressed with the case than the rod but both are beautiful. I hope and pray your friend recovers from the illness and am sure your work will be appreciated.
