Deer Hair Drake (variation) SBS

A few changes to Michigan tyer Ralph Hanna?s 1960?s creation; subbed moose body hair for pheasant tail on the back end and calftail for deer hair on the wing. Downwing, clipped hackle could work for grey drake spinners on the Yellowstone in the Park, maybe.

hook - Dai Riki 300 #10
thread - UTC 140 black
tail - moose body hair
ribbing - tying thread
body - deer hair
wing - calftail white
hackle - grizzly
