A western stillwater pattern from Dennis Collier.

hook - Mustad 3906 #10
thread - Danville 6/0 brown
tag - tinsel gold
rib - x-small wire gold
body - peacock herl
body hackle - ostrich herl chartreuse
hackle - hen grizzly

Part 1

mash barb, start thread, tie in tinsel; wrap part way down the bend and back, tie off/trim

tie in rib

tie in peacock; wrap forward, tie off/trim

tie in ostrich herl; palmer back thru body

capture tip of herl with wire, rib forward; helicopter end trim herl

Part 2

tie in (folded) hackle by tip

wrap hackle, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
