Dave, they're on their way

Well all good things must come to an end. We had 7 days of fantastic fishing here in NJ but its over now. The fish averaged 25 to 35 pounds for me!!!

Dave if your still up there, get the BIG rod out. These fish are large and hot, Looong first runs. (If your not up there, just weep quietly in the corner)Ha, Ha

Good luck LI and New England guys and gals.

Larry

The way this summer’s been going, 35 lbs is on the small side.
Unfortunately, striper commercial season just opened in Mass., so big fish will be plenty scarce from now on.

They were all from the beach!!

I saw 40s taken but not for me this year. Some 50s were taken from the boats but I keep my feet in the sand.

Continued good luck.

Larry

Larry, I’ve traded big stripers for small trout–I live in Missoula Montana, now. It’s a different kind of fishing, but I really have enjoyed it so far. And Missoula is one beautiful town.

Dave:

Taking the yak to Crane tomorrow. 10:30 low. Plan on heading out to the red can and dredging up some cows.

Hey Dave, I’m glad to see you post. I was afraid that we’d lost you to fresh air. I hope that all goes well for you.
