Dave Mincus fish measuring method!!

Dave,

great method you have there. I think we all have it in our minds in some way or another but still you put it on clear and contundent words.

I can see a lot of deflated egos looking through your measuring scope.

Just great!

Dave

Does this mean that I can double the measurment because I caught it on a fly rod and then again double it becasue I was in a canoe?

Rick

rick, the wonderful thing about catch and release is that by the time you get home that fish can grow to pretty much any size you want it to be!

and thanks, dave. i haven’t been beaten up over the measuring meathod yet, but when i share it with bait fishers i’m always prepared to run for my life…

dphoto, RW here,

Is Mincus the Spanish spelling for Micus?

dphoto, RW again,

Please don’t tell me it’s Minus. We writers take care of our own, and I’d hate to see one of his articles with the by-line D.Minus.

RW.

It was too late when I realized there was a typo in the title. I just haven’t been able to correct it, seems like topics can not be edited after thay are submited.

Sorry Dave

D.

ps. if anything it will be A.plus

It use to be Mincus, but the feds changed it to Micus, once he went under the federal witness protection program.

I heard the Dave was having trouble spelling his name and so he had it tatooed on his fingers. Needless to say he also had trouble with his math so Micus was a compromise.

Folks, RW again,

None of this is going to look good on the cover of a book if Dave ever decides to write one.

Incidentally, is it wise to have a book published when your in the “Witness Protection Program?”

I mean c’mon. You’d be an open target at a book signing.

On the other hand, RW, i’d be assured of at least having some federal marshalls at the signing when no one else showed. and don’t knock the d minus–it got me where i am today (sigh…)
