The kids hit a great night on the water with Crappie deciding to hammer the bass poppers we were tossing. Having fished here multiple times in the past, this was a first.
They were leaving the water on the strike and completely swallowing the entire #6 deer hair popper!

Neither did I until the other week. 
Now that would be fun! Never had a crappie hit a popper but at night things are different on the water. Nice pic and report.
