Congratulations Jack Hise

Jack Hise lives up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and is a very active member of the NIFC - North Idaho Fly Casters - club. He is very involved in teaching new people about fly fishing. The NIFC just awarded Jack with the Youth Award for all of his efforts this past year in helping to teach school children to become future fly fishers. Congratulations Jack!!!

Larry —sagefisher— (also a member of NIFC)

Yaaaaay, Jack!!

A nice honor for a nice guy.

Rick

Way to go Jack!! Thank you for your service to our youth and others.

Very nice !

Thank you Jack and congratulations!

I’m sure this award was well deserved. Jack has a history of working with kids. You can find people all over Michigan who participated in his fly fishing program at the juvenile detention center near Evart. It was officially a Kiawnis project I think but Jack and one of the councilors were the ones who pulled it all together.

Congrats “Uncle Jack” as he is known to my fly fishing Grand daughter Tori. He built her a 'boo when she was 2 or 3 out of an old “garage sale” remnant. She still cherishes & fishes that rod & she is now 13.
Jack is a dear friend, memory maker, & one of the best men anyone will ever meet.
Well deserved honor indeed!!!
Mikey

Hey Jack,
I too add my congratulations to the chorus. Nice work.

Mark

That’s fantastic Jack. Congratulations, and keep up the good work.

Good work Jack. The youth are the future of our sport. Thank you for giving your time and talents.

That’s really cool! Congratulations!

Way to go Jack! Nice job and thanks for helping to support out sport.

Thank you guys! It starts again on February 14. We will be teaching 3rd & 4th graders at Ramsey Eliementry here in Couer d’Alene. We learned a good lesson last year when teaching this age group. Keep them at least 2 chairs apart or it’s a bit like herding cats!!

Well done, Mr. Hise.

Nice one Jack. You really do make a great ambassador for fly fishing. We need to plan a couple of trips for this summer.

Thanks for “herding the cats” towards a good, clean, healthy, lifelong hobby.
