Colorado Visit

Anyone on board here from Denver / Broomfield Area?
Planning a trip there in a couple of weeks.

Steve

The answer is yes. What do you seek?

I live in Boulder

Sent you both a PM

You can’t trust anyone from the Republic of Boulder.

You can’t believe anything an oldfart over 40 tells you.

You can’t trust a thing that a Lone Tree kinda guy tells you either.

Boulder, here. Happy to provide information for your trip.

I’m in the mountains an hour west of Fort Collins. Happy to answer any questions. DANBOB

An hour west of Ft. Collins? How do you get enough electricity to run your computer?

Steve,

I’ll be on he Big Thompson this weekend and the Colorado , Roaring Fork and Frying Pan next weekend.

Drop me an email and I’ll give you a report…

There are also a couple of great lakes in the Denver area if you don’t have any time to drive.

I just came back from Colorado. I worked mon.-Sat. Went fishing on Sunday. I fished the Frying Pan, the Eagle river and the Yampa River below Stage Coach. The Frying Pan use Candy Cane’s, Bwo emegers, EHC, and Baetis nymphs, #18-22. The Yampa river was the best fishing of the 3 I mentioned. Use Tricos, EHC, RS2, Baetis nymphs, Loop Wing Emergers. Hope this helps

I’m from Denver and fish fairly regularly, shoot me a PM or feel free to checkout my free website and go to the files section, it has all the info you should need…

Oh, and BTW Steve – dress warm! Starting to get some snow mixed with the rain here up here on the mountain right now. Cancelling my trip to Delaney Butte Lakes tomorrow, too – float tubing in a snowstorm sounds unpleasant compared to tying flies next to a hot woodstove for tomorrow’s activities!

I would still Hit Delaney, was up there last weekend and did pretty good, night fishing is always the peak! Mouse patterns and anything big. A guy I fished with caught a 32" 18lb Bow at South so South is doing better lately than North Lake…

Watch the moon phase also it’s full so it might slow things down~
