This is by far the “brightest” rod I have done for someone. It’s for a guy that is giving it to his girlfriend and she is a big fan of a dress designer that uses very bright and vibrant colors like pinks/lime greens/yellow and such. So he wanted the theme of the rod to match.
Blank is 8’6" 7/8wt 4pc Pink with an acrylic insert. BUL5 hardware, double foo guides, a grip with green dyed wood ends to match the wraps. Wraps are a bright almost lime green with neon yellow trim bands and a custom turned small butt with a ring of green burl cork and yellow accents.
