I have just started fishing warm water again, and I have to admit, those darn trout got me all turned around. I feel like a begginer and have an empty stringer to prove it. I will try some clausers minnows tomorrow and see if I do any better. I even tried a spincast rod with no success. I hope it gets better as I learn the water, and the wind the last two days was tough, but it has been a long time since I have been skunked. If I go three days in a row, I am going tie a stick of dynamite on the end of my tippet and see if that gets any results.
ill call you this week after i see how my schedule is going to play out. i will put you on some bluegills and shellcrackers. ill guarantee it! ill bring the flies you bring your rod and a strong leader!
bedlam, yes a DuPont 60% stick bait would definitely change your luck, how much and which direction will depend on where the game warden and witnesses are, Relax and keep trying and you will get back into the swing of things. Take care, John.
