Cheesecake

Yesterday I made the $25,000 cheesecake recipe from this site. Let me tell you, it’s worth twice that and more. I loved it, my friends loved it, and it couldn’t be easier to make. Thanks for the recipe!

Diane

Diane, can you believe we will have it here again tomorrow? Sort of figured since it is a ‘free’ holiday, how could we go wrong?
Glad you enjoyed it too!

LF, got to love the calorie-free zone during the holidays. I’ll be lucky if there’s any left here tomorrow but I’m thinking that I’ll volunteer to make my own birthday cake this year! Enjoy.

Diane

Diane, I agree with you. I got sucked into the darn recipe and promised a nieghbor a nice slice. Ha, the little piglets inhailed it and my poor buddy gets a dinky slab.

It was awesome, Thanks LF

Happy New year and tight lines to all

Philip

Ha ha, ours is chilling. Will be ready for a nice late nite snack. (I can’t believe we ate the whole thing in less than 5 days last time).

It sounds good too. I been making one with black walnut and mini choclate chips for long time. I like the rasberry one and will be making a blueberry one when the blueberries get ripe.

wv: my suggestion is to forget the walnuts and berries and just make this $25,000 cheesecake plain. You’ll love it. And, then, go from there as to the toppings!

Ron, we did eat it ‘naked’ and it is wonderful that way. I find it a bit odd, my grandmother would have called it “Gilding the Lily” that there are so many different flavored cheesecakes, different strokes for different folks of course, but what is the point of a pumpkin cheesecake? Either eat pumpkin pie or cheesecake…

no no and again i say no. pumpkin cheesecake is food of the gods.
