Are we ever going to get GOOD Chatroom?
it has been at least a year since the last one crashed and I can’t barely get into this one anymore but can get into any others I go to :frowning:
is there anything I can do to help?

I’m with you on your request. We really do need a new format. That being said, I’ll be hosting tomorrow night from 7-9. Hopefully things will work well enough for friends to communicate coherently. Keep the faith, keep trying, and maybe something good will happen. C’ya tomorrow night.

how bout a chat room where you can have the voice option steadin of having to do all that typing… Fer some folks if they anything like me it takes 15 minutes to type a word if it has more than 3 numbers in it…

I am afraid that a voice mode would be asking for trouble. When people type something they actually have to think, somewhat, about what they are typing. In a voice mode I am afraid that peoples mouths output information without the brain thinking about what is being said.

I’ve determined that if the chat room decides to work, it either works the first time or takes about 40 tries before it will log in properly, and after that its a crapshoot if it stays working properly. Seriously? Can we get something done about this? Anyone? If its financial, can someone let us know? Maybe we could get together some money to help with the licensing cost. If nothing is going to be done to it, can someone in charge just tell us that it won’t be fixed?

That sure was painful to watch last night Foo. I know when that happens to me, I just go away for the night. My fear is when it happens to others, (and it will) they will juust go away forever and not bother coming back.

I agree Brad, I really felt sorry for Foo last night, very painful to watch. C’mon, Larry, give him credit. He tried more than THAT.

The last few days the chat has been particularly bad. Several of us have been sent to Cleveland, others couldn’t get in at all, a couple times the whole room dumped…

Anyone paying attention? Anyone? Anyone?

Hi folks, Ron has been out looking and seems to think the chatroom we had right after the original Volano is still the best for us. Since we owned it at one time now we have to try and find the documentation…and with JC dead that isn’t exactly easy. I think I may know someone who might actually have real paperwork on it, but that isn’t easy either. We are working on it.
