Can anyone tell me where I can find chartreuse woolly bugger hackle 7 to 9 inches long for tying size 4X buggers?
They might work. It’s hard to get good, long bugger hackle anymore.
yes it is difficult to find GOOD long, large size bugger hackle anymore. The best I’ve found in the last few years is from Bass Pro shops, but it takes digging through all the packs of hackle in the shop to find the good stuff. I have a few packs saved up which is startlingly good for large size palmering.
