Charged with Poaching - Claims found 43 salmon

A mayor of a small town in Newfoundland, charged with poaching, says he found the 43 salmon that were in his possession by the side of a pond.* This CBC article also sparked an on-line poll on how serious a matter poaching is. The Conservation Officers will be keeping an eye out for the 211 who voted that stopping poaching was a make work job for the officers. What ever happened to putting people in stocks or caning? Hanging is a little severe for a first offense but a few days in the stocks down by the local fly shop with plenty of rotten fruit available.

What salmon? Oh yeah, those salmon. Found em!
