Spring has sprung finally got out to try my “new” Fenwick F756…turns out to be a real smooth caster, perfect for the small ponds I hit.
Found some nice Crappie and a Gill or two here and there…all told, around 50 or so Crappie in 2 afternoons and a dozen or so Gills.
The last two pictured were in the 11" range…pretty big for around here!
All caught on size 8-10 tiny bugger type streamers.

Great report.
Isn’t that a sweet little rod for that type of stuff. It took us 30yrs to convince a friend to sell back one we sold him. It was worth the wait.

Yeah, really like the rod…very limited casting space at this location, can’t wait to really let it fly on a stream.
I’ve found that the rod lawn casts terribly but with the added drag of a water pick-up, it casts great!
