Anybody familiar with “Cedar” blanks? Not cedar wood, but Cedar or Cedar Creek blanks? I had a rod built a number of years ago, and was really impressed with the blanks. I was looking to try and pick up one, but can’t find ithem anywhere? Are they still available? They had a green IM6 line that really cast nice.
Thanks for any help.

Ralph I can’t say I have ever heard of them, there is no blank made by a company named Cedar that I know of. Maybe “Cedar” was part of the name of the shop that built the rods and the blank was actually something else? Green IM6 blanks from some years back - the first thing that pops into my mind would be the Rainforest blanks. They were a smooth casting green Im6 from some years back and lots of builders use to use them for fly rods. Wish I could be of more help but can’t say I have ever heard of a blank itself by that name.

Thanks gents! Well, the email link didn’ twork. I’ll try to call the number this evening. I know they had their own catalog…but wasn’t sure if it was a dealer only situation or what? I appreciate the help.
