Castwell on Blind Casting?

So, JC, I only have one question after reading your casting column this week:

That bag…paper or plastic?

The bag should be paper, as in the grocery bags (remember the unknown comic?) - but, I can see the advantage of using a plastic bag over the head of some of our readers. Might help their outlook

LOL…I had the same thought as I read the article. I was taught to just “close my eyes”. No bag required

LF, “the bag should be paper”-now you tell me. I tried the plastic bag before I read this. I can’t cast any better, but I did meet some nice people at the emergency room, and my outlook has changed. All in all, a good artical.

Well, my last job was bagging groceries, but I got fired from there over two years ago and haven’t worked since. Nowadays I’m just a trout bum with a real estate license.

If my casting is really ugly should I double bag it?
