5 minutes to tie a fly that’ll stay on top all day long? I’ll take that. In these colors, this will work as a spruce moth, too.

body - 1mm foam olive
wing - Congo Hair shiner tan
hackle - grizzly dyed olive

Integrating a folded foam head into this pattern adds a bit more floatation. Again, in these colors, it’ll work as a Spruce Moth. Ran out of mule deer for the wings but the yearling elk seems to be a decent substitute.
