I have a 7wt, a nice weapon, fast and very nice finished. Somebody said that`s the same blank that Sage uses for the Xi2 fly rod, built for Cabelas. Is it possible? Opinions of the XST?

If you look at the ads in the Cabelas catalog you will see that the Xi2 is on a blank made with Generation 5 technology.
The XST is said to be build on a blank with Generation III technology.
Do you really think that Cabelas would sell the rod for $475 off the list price of the Sage ???
