Cabela's Rod Reel Case

does anyone know if Cabelas Rod and Reel Combo case, for a 2 piece rod, has individual sleeves, for each section of the rod?

I could not link the photo, but here is the web page:

No, mine does not

G,

how old is yours? Is it the one they are selling now?

thanks!

I like the idea of being able to break my rod down to two pieces still rigged. Individual compartments would defeat that purpose.

Chewy,

if you look at the Simms ones (which are pricey), I think you could do either.

I bought one of the rod cases only and it had seperate sleeves. That looks like the one I have.

There could be some confusion here.
Most such double rod cases have two separate pvc tubes which each have a cloth sleeve which only have one hole so they can be used as chewydog says. Is yours different than that ,Jack?

I will regroup, mine does have 2 separate sleeves(or tubes), but not divided for each section of the rod.

Mine has sleeves to seperate the rod 1/2’s but I ignore it and stow the rod rigged.

Correct. I just bought the Simms one on Craigslist for half price.

LL Bean has them, I dont know if it has dividers…

I have the LL Bean case for two 4 piece rods/reels. It has individual dividers for all 4 rod sections & is a nice case.
