Drove over to check out the store in Cowtown and picked up a few things. Amongst them was a Trekker head lamp for night time fishing (won’‘t be too long until that’s the only kind of fishing going on in Texas, up until October or so anyways) Got home, put in the batteries and voila! Zip nada, nothin’.
So I called Customer Care and was advised that they will be shipping me a brand new one, just like that!
Nice people, nice catalog, but I have a pet peeve! I have found that even when items are “in stock” there is usually a delay in shipping of more than a day. I usually order late in the day, I don’t expect it to be shipped that nite, but I feel it should go out the next day. In one case I paid extra for express shipping, but their time lag resulted in it being too late to get it here by the weekend, which is why I paid extra. In fairness, they did make it right- refunding the extra shipping, but it didn’t save the weekend!!
