recipe
hook:jig
thread:black8/0
eyes: bead chain(small)
body: tinsel
wing:arctic fox(white)
overwing:pearl krystal flash
head:orange dubbing

I like it. What size hook do you tie that on? 8T

that is an excellent fly pattern!

I found jig hooks as small as #10 on Cabelas site. There were quite a few that went as low as #8, fewer that went to #10.
Searched for “jig hooks” and browsed through them all.

sorry guys i forgot to put that in
the hook is a size 10 mustad

You can take a streamer hook in 4 to 6 long and with pliers put a bend in the eye end of the hook at a 45 to 60 degree bend you now have a jig hook in the size you need. The degree of the bend is important in the presentation of the fly in that it presents a better hook up and will work much better than a 90 degree bend found on most jig hooks. Give it a try.

By the way a very interesting pattern you have there.
