Bishop Harbor off southern Tampa Bay is a favorite kayak fishing spot for me. Recently, I"ve been getting a slam (trout, redfish, snook) most every time out during the incoming tide. I’ve been catching fish along the northeast shoreline around mangrove islands.
After that bite ends, I’ve been paddling out into Tampa Bay and doing fairly well while sight-fishing redfish and small sharks. In addition, I’ve been getting spotted seatrout and pompano.
