Best sunset or sunrise shots

Okay I meant to start this about a week ago, but I posted a thread on another site and forgot to put it here!:frowning:
Anyway, lets see your favorite sunrise or sunset shots, I will start with a couple, all taken with a point and shoot and no retouching, just using the sunset setting on the camera.
Great Barrier Island sunset between the squalls

Caddis time on the Tongariro

So lets see some of yours they do not need to be magazine quality but should be the ones you just like the best.
All the best.

Beautiful pics, Mike.

Took this one on the Madison at Raynolds:

Not the greatest pic, but I thought the clouds hitting the mountain were cool.

I like this one for the buggage

Scott

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.

I posted mine here; http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/showthread.php?48136-Winter-time-sunset

The shot was done with a Nikon D800e using a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, developed in Adobe Lightroom 4. The difference between my shot with a high end DSLR and a shot done with a point & shoot camera would be that I can print my shot up to poster size and it will still look the same as it does here.

This was a couple of years ago out in east central AZ on the Ft. Apachee reservation. I was sitting in a doughnut float tube with a cheap digital camera on Sunrise Lake at sunset. Approximately 9100 ft. MSL.

this just won the “pure Michigan” photo contest. not mine but still a great sunset.

I took this from my kayak while fishing Big Creek Lake in Iowa.

Annular Eclipse over Pacific Ocean at sunset.

Lovely shots there guys, thanks for sharing.
All the best.
