Consider it done! Here are the two remaining cans from my reserve stock that was earmarked for the MIFI. I was saving them for a special occasion (this qualifies as extra special), so they are now part of the official “stockpile” of goodies for the auction.
Hey Flybinder, I don’t suppose that I could get you to remove that extraneous, second “i” and convert Dillion into Dillon, could I? Dillon is a name, not a quantity… (I’m not exactly sure how much a “dillion” is, but I see it often seems to apply to me. It mustn’t be too much as the IRS tried to do a “dillion” tax refund to me a few years ago.)
Ed;
EXTREMELY sorry about that! Nothing ruder than to misspell someone’s name, especially a friends. It has been corrected, of course.
I need to watch my posting, and the time my drugs take effect. (The other day, I ALMOST, wrote something NICE about “PhoDough God”, but thankfully caught it in time).
Again, my apologies and thank you once, more, for the auction support!
I guess I’m going to have to e-mail Linda to make sure you stay on a more regimented schedule with your happy pills, lest you should commit the unforgivable sin of saying something nice about me or the other vermin residing in the evil empire of the Island Nation of Ohio.
SPAM seems to be bringing in the high rollers!?!
Never would have guessed, that there were so many iron stomached fly fishers out there!?!
Thank you, Rocky,(Elkhunter), for the new bid!
Well, now, if two cans of life-giving, soul-cleansing, libido-charging SPAM can bring out the best in so many people, just think what they would do for an autographed compilation of the Dough god’s favorite recipes? Yep, I will assemble said recipes in a volume, autograph it, and include it in the cache of prizes, treasures and other assorted paraphernalia that the winning bidder will receive. Here’s a photographic compendium (as minimal space allows) of what will be in the recipe booklet:
BREAD RECIPES
SOUPS
MAIN DISHES
DESSERTS
You should not even ask (shame on you), but yes, there will be more than ONE recipe in each category.
OK, not to be outdone, I will make & mail (priority) 2 pounds of my peanut butter fudge to the auction winner. It will be made fresh AFTER I receive notification of the winner, & NO, I will NOT divulge my recipe.
Take it or leave it.
Mikey
ps: yes, it’s edible.
Just for fun, here’s a new recipe added to my repertoire today. Homemade semolina & egg pasta raviolis, stuffed with ricotta cheese filling and some with shrimp & crab mousse filling. I had some of the mousse left over when I ran out of pasta dough (made 6 dozen raviolis today for our daughter’s birthday party on 8-10), so I pan fried the mousse in evoo and butter, then dipped it in Mama’s sauce. TO DIE FOR! Fresh ginger, garlic and soy sauce add to the flavors of this dining experience. Yummo!
Oh, and yes, that is the Dough god’s homemade Italian bread and his very own cinnamon rolls for dessert. Yummo!
THANK YOU, Mikey!!
This auction just keeps getting better and better!!
Imagine… with the fudge from The Buckeye Bandit, the SPAM from Photdough God, the winner will be able to not only fish in style, look stylish while fishing, but… he/she, will be able to patch holes in sheet rock, their driveway, stonewall landscaping, whatever needs fixing!!
I guess, too, it’s now time to add another item to this auction. I’ll take a pictures of what I’ll be adding next and post it on here, shortly!?!
Gee… quite frankly, Mikey I wouldn’t KNOW, about such things since MY FUDGE, (PROMISED to me), has yet to arrive so I’ll take your word on the "gain weight issue for now!?!
Howesoever… as I mentioned, earlier, I was going to post a picture of the latest addition to our little auction we have going here.
Below is the promised pic of the added item.
I wanted to include this, since the bag has been acting so sad and mopey ever since the hat was sent off on its crisscross national journey.
So, since the winner of this auction will no doubt keep both TREASURES together, in one sacred space in their home… it’s only fitting I feel, that they have the infamous “Carry All”, from Berkley Trilene, to complete “The Set”.
