Nice fly Benjo! It makes me wish that I had stoneflies in my Bluegill ponds .
I especially like the tip about pulling over the tag end of the thread to bind it down. I’ve tied some extended bodies, but I never thought to pull the thread over. My flies will probably fall apart .

Thanks. It should probably be called a “Rogue Salmonfly” tied by Benjo. Don’t want to take credit for a fly that’s probably as old as I am. It does work very well during the sf hatch.
