Bearlodge Angler

Dear customers of the Bearlodge Angler:

As I posted earlier:

We have been called out of town to deal with a family medical emergency. Our daughter has who is due to have our 1st grandbaby in January, has been diagnosed with Pre-eclampsia at 28 weeks.

She has been hospitalized in Macon, Georgia. She and the baby are stable at this time; however, we have to be with them until the baby is born.

Her husband is currently deployed in Afghanistan serving our country in the Army.

We can not currently process orders or do much of anything with the business until things stabilize with the family situation and we can make back to Wyoming.

I am trying to take the web site down until we get home.

Please bear with us at this time. It appears it will be 2-3 weeks maybe longer for baby?s sake until I can get back to Wyoming. Due to extreme financial strain this has suddenly caused us, we may be looking at some sort of liquidation when we get home and try and figure what to do with the business.

Pease keep our daughter and baby in your thoughts and prayers.

I want to thank everyone for the support through the years and now in this time of trials.

We didn’t make it 2 weeks! Sophia Jacques was born this morning at 7:31 am. She weighs 2 lbs 6 ounces and is 14 ?” long. She is very small and is healthy. She is in level III neo-natal intensive care. She is breathing on her own and looks great. Our daughter Julie has been having severe problems due to the preeclampsia and now has HELLP, they are moving her to ICU for acute liver failure. The Red Cross has made arraignments to fly Charles out of Afghanistan tomorrow. Please keep our little family in your prayers.

Bill

That goes without saying Bill, extra prayers are sent from here.

My prayers are with you and your family

Many many prayers coming your way.

Julie is doing much better today. She had a rough night, however, she seems to have turned the corner, Kidney’s started working better. The doctors gave her some blood platelets. By this afternoon all tupes were pulled and she was able to do a little walking and she was able to see the baby. Sophia seems to still be doing real good. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers, they are working:-) We still have a long ways to go especially for little Sophia.

Bill

Update 11/11/12: We have had ups and downs. Julie is having problems still with the liver platelets and blood pressure. Yesterday blood pressure was to low, today it was too high. Platelets are still low. I think she over did it the day before walking and the time we spent trying to get in to see the baby. So she has spent the past 2 days trying get back up to speed. Sophia seems to be doing very good. She is still in an incubator. They put a breathing tube Saturday evening and some medicine in to help with her breathing. They removed the breathing tube today a day or two earlier then planned. They are feeding her 4 times per 12 hour shift. She lost 4 ounces since birth which is normal, however, she has gained back 1 ounce back and is another ? inch longer. She looks like she is going to take after her father and be real tall. We have been down reading books to her.

The good news is Charles arrived from Afghanistan this evening. That should be a big boost to everyone. The nurse in the neo natal said that Sophia had a surprise for her daddy when he got there. They presented him with a card that state Welcome home Daddy and inside of picture of Sophia and her foot prints and signed Sophia. What a heart breaking moment. He is here for maybe 10 days. Hopefully he can get Julie pulled through this and enjoy Sophia before he heads back. Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes. They are working by the grace of god.

My prayers continue.

Good news today. Julie was discharged from the hospital. Her blood pressure is normal with medication. They had their name on the wait list for Ronald McDonald House but were told it was full and there was a family ahead of them. Within an hour they got a call saying they were in and to go register. Such a blessing!

Sophia is fine. They put in her pick line last night, humidity down to 45%, and will check in the morning to see if they can remove the billy light. We are moving forward.

We drove back to Hinesville today so we can clean and do a few handyman projects. Again thanks for all your prayers, they mean so much to all of us.

Bill and Kathi

I am so glad to hear this news. It is amazing what God can do through doctors and others.

Glad to hear the good news.

Always great to hear GOOD news! Wish them the very best from Wyoming, and spoil the dickens out of that little one!

This is a picture of baby Sophia after her first bath. Without all the tubes and wires. She is doing very good starting to gain a little weight up to 2 lbs 8 oz. She is doing very good. Breathing on her own and out from the belly light. She has a little attitude, just like her mother.

Thank you everyone for your continued prayers. We are still in Georgia. I will be heading back to Wyoming next Saturday. Charles heads back to Afganistan next Monday. Bill

So good to see an update!!! Sophia is BEAUTIFUL!!! Prayers will continue.

Prayers added from sunny Arizona as well. Keep the faith, it’s all good.
Hugs,
Deanna
