Hey folks,
I need some help with converting metrics to inches. Tooled around on the web and could not find a site that started small enough. Here’s my question: for a hook size 16 or 18 I’ve been using the 5/64 and 3/32. Does anyone know what the metric equivalent would be on these two sizes?
Thanks for your help.

I dont know how they sell metric beads but you would be looking at a 2mm and about a 2.5mm bead respectively.

gqualls;
Buzz’s chart is just what you want. Converted that for years and just found that using a mm as o.040 was close enough!!
There are roughly 25 mm per inch. If you divide 5 by 64 to get the decimal equivalent and multiply by 25 it comes out to 1.9; or 2 mm.
Likewise 3 divided by 32 times 25 - 2.34 or 2.5 mm. Mathematically, Bamboozle called right on the spot.

Actually, you can convert it with any calculator, 'cause 1 inch is EXACTLY 25.4mm
