After a couple of months away from the desk with school and hunting taking up most of my time i am looking foreward to getting back to the table and tying some flies. I dont know what to tie though, some steelhead flies, or some trout nymphs. I think the weather isnt quite bad enough for my mind to get into it yet, middle of december in northern michigan and no snow? I should be fishing

Too early for serious tying unless you are cranking out some steelhead patterns! If I lived near a good chromer fishery, I’d be out fishing!
