Co_Flyfisher (Jared) and Jack Hise were over at my house this morning and while Jared was casting a fly rod in my back yard, this little fellow/lady came over for a visit and fell in love with Jared’s foot. We feel he must have fallen out of the nest somewhere and we hope his mom will come and get him. We all went to the flyshop and when we returned, it was gone.
Cute little bugger!
Hey, I don’t remember you guys sayin’ Jared was “squirrely”! Now he has a young’n!!!

They are cute little guys. We have several squirrel “families” that bring their kids to our house to show them where the feeder is, and the easiest way to get the peanuts out. They also show them the squirrel proof bird feeders and the easiest way to get the sunflower seeds out. All of that grey squirrel tail and dubbing on the hoof around here and VEE makes me buy it at the fly shop. (You’d think that for $50 worth of peanuts each month the little buggers would at least shed some dubbing for me, but nooooo.)

Cute lil’ guy. He certinally hasen’t grown into the size of his head yet has he:D
It sure was a funny little guy. Dare I say cute? He sure did like my shoe. We tried putting it back in the tree with hopes it could make it up to the nest, but he fell back down (but at least we got a fly rod in the picture ;)). Hopefully mommy or daddy helped it back up while we were gone at the fly shop.
Obviously Jared is a typical, junketting business man. He’s checking out the local “wild life” and picking up a local babe. Next thing you know, he’ll be peeping in the nests of unsuspecting birds. “HEY! Check out THESE chicks!”…
Have fun, CO_Flyfisher!

Big, gray and white … maybe he thought it was his mother?
I have those exact shoes. Gonna be looking out for the fuzzy little guys now.
and I thought puppies had legs and heads to grow into. That sqwrl (hukd on fonix wrkd fr me!) looks like it is all legs and head.
