Fished 2 hours yesterday evening. 10 Koi and 8 Goldfish.
Saturday was VERY hot! Don’t mind the sour-puss face. I was having as much fun as you can imagine. 
Could only physically manage about 2 hours of fishing before overheating. 28.5" Grass Carp, plus a Shortnose Gar and a Green Sunfish.
You got some nice fish. Doing better than I am.

Seems like a good option right now is to fish moving water of some sort. Like a Smallmouth Bass stream maybe.
Dale, without naming spots, possibly try that large reservoir west of you for White Bass. It appears to be largely an early morning bite at the moment. Possibly evenings as well.
