Go check out “the strip” It was good to me today, close to a dozen fish, ranging from 12-26 inches, most were right in the middle. Taylor was slow, water is still a little bit chilly, and vegitation is not close to coming back yet. Some of the cattails were just barely starting to turn a little green. I give it another week or two of warm weather and those banks will be covered up. . . with carp and bass boats. I might give that lake a rest until mid summer when the bass buzz dies.

Okie, I need to start checking this board a little more often. That sounds great, can’t wait to get back out there. Have you ever tried the ponds to the south? I have yet to see any feeders anywhere but the one north pond.

I have seen one big koi in the next pond south, and that’s it. The water gets deep a little too quickly to make for good sight fishing, and I can’t see much that would draw the fish in close to feed near the bank anyway.
