WOW, now that takes ba$$s.
For some strange reason, that reminds me of my “EX” wife!
It all sounds logical to me…
Good choice. Fish don’t talk back.
Eric “nighthawk”
American veteran and proud of it!
Reminds me of a very funny song by Brad Paisley, country singer. Song Title is “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and the idea is that his wife gives him a choice, her or fishing. I guess the title tells you what he chose. I have to laugh every time I hear this song.
Diane,
That’s one of my favorite songs…my adult kids all say it reminds them of me!..of course, they say the same thing about Steve Martin in Father Of the Bride when he’s tearin’ the pack of hot dog buns apart!

You can call me Mike & you can call me Mikey…Just remember that this site’s about sharing!
Andy!!! My man.
Andy Capp has always been my hero. I’ve always aspired to be like him when I’m all growed up!
Donald
I have to say being on the other side of this spectrum…hmmmppphhh @@ !!
I like the song too, not just because as DH likes to say that I am in love with Brad and would leave him for Brad in a heartbeat @@…it is a cute song…
I am gonna let it go at this…

i have a little different situation. Margaret and i just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last week, and every once in a while i guess i get a little annoying and she will get right in my face and say, ever so nicely, “you need to go fishing”. of course i comply with the request.
mike
“you need to go fishing”
Details grumps, I need details. Those are 5 words I can’t get my wife to say. How do you do it?
Be like Andy!!! It works everytime!! [Altho what my wife asks is "don’t you have somewhere to go?!?]
Donald
a Buddy of mine bride to be had a fit cus we were going fishing … again!.. I reminded her that he was fishing with me long before she came around and probly would be fishing with me long after their Devorce… they were devorced after 1 year … and yes we still fish together .
The more time I spend around people the more I like my dog.
