Amber Lake, Eastern Washington

It was a nice day to be on the water. FINALLY. Due to a pinched nerve in my back, I haven’t been able to be on the water for over 1 1/2 years. It felt really good. We got skunked, but the weather was so good, we stayed longer than we should have. My partner Sean and I both were really wobbly when we tried to get out of the water. We both looked like old men trying to navigate the room full of balls at McDonalds. I was in pontoon boat, and Sean was in a float tube. The surface water temp was only 44 degrees. The air temp was into the 50’s, but our legs were wasted when we decided is was time to leave. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the day. Here’s some pics.

Yeah, It was fun.

Nice photos Joe. Glad you finally got out and thanks for sharing with us. Looks like a few other folks were on the water. Jim

It’s a 177 acre lake, and I think there was somewhere between 16-18 total boats. 1 person per boat.

Love the photos Joe. Very glad to see you get back on the water. Fish or no fish it is very good for the soul.

Where’s the beef…er i mean the Fish? You’re not supposed to get skunked Joe! Glad your pinched nerve is in the past. Boy for a day that started out with snow it sure looks like it ended nicely. Great Pics thanks for posting them.

What were you after, trout or giggle fish or ???

Joe,

Great photos. That lake looks real Crappie, or Bassy or Blue Gilly piece of water. It looks like a good lake.

Glad you made it out.
