Hey all, I just bought an Albright GPR 5/6 fly reel at a garage sale for $10. Is this a good reel and what is the reel worth. The guy said he did not fly fish and wanted to get rid of the reel. It had a tag on it that had a price of $98.
Probably the right price on the tag. Everyone has been very happy with the Albright products, you did good!
I believe the GPR reel has been discontinued. Their GP reel retails for $279. The GPX sells for $479. I believe you got a smokin’ deal. I own several Albright reels and rods too.
