The Ray Charles swap got me looking at the Al Campbell archives and his series of Too Simple flies in the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2004. There are some interesting flies in that series, so I would like to host a swap using these 10 patterns. Each person sign up for one of the 10. I’ll give you all first shot at the patterns and take what is left later on.
Each tyer needs to have their 10 flies to me by April 28. I will send out shipping info as soon as everyone is signed up. Be sure your flies are toetagged, and include your packaging and postage.

I’ll post this because I didn’t get the punch embroidery yarn concept and I figured you guys can learn through my ignorance. I thought punch yarn was a brand name. Turns out, it is a punch embroidery technique, and you buy that type of yarn. Lots of stuff out there. If I end up with a punch yarn pattern, I’ll probably head for our local craft stores. I did a quick search online and came up with 80 colors for under $2 a card.
OOPS! There is still one spot open that I overlooked. I will open the swap back up to anyone who might be interested in picking up the extended bunny mayfly. If there are no takers, I’ll pick that one up also.
I’ve sent e-mails out to everyone who has their e-mail available on their profile with shipping info on it. If you didn’t get notice, e-mail me and I’ll get you my address.

Mine are just about done as well…these are probably one of the simplest patterns I’ve tied…most SJW don’t whip finish the chenille…I found this unique and was probably the toughest part of the tie…
