Advice on Rubber Net

I’ve just spent a few minutes browsing for rubber nets online. I had no idea there were so many. My question is simply “what’s the best net for the money”? I would prefer to have a net at least 12 inches wide and at least 18 inches long with a handle 6-8 inches. I’m not really interested in exotic wooden handles and brand names … just a good, solid, reputable rubber landing net. Thanks in advance.

For a good value, I’d suggest the rubber net version of the MeasureNet. It comes in several sizes.

On Ebay I bought a Brodin Ghost net, which I think is top end. I then bought cheap handle/frame. I cut off the bag on the frame, sanded and varnished it with 5 coats of varnish and then tied on the new net. It cost about $40 and is nice looking and will last quite a while. A net bag is very flexible and can be tied onto many different shaped frames. This gave me the opportunity to pick separately the bag I wanted and the shape of the net I wanted.

PS This is a really easy project with no real skill needed.

Love my Measurenets…don’t have the rubber one though

They just zip on the frame of your choice…e.g. I zipped one on an old tennis racquet…wood will float …graphite is light

I just today saw a frabill trout net with a clear rubber basket and wooden frame…$24

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. Cold, where did you see the Frabill net?
